MedAptus Recruits Industry Leaders
to Continue Building the Company

BOSTON, MA., April
9, 2003 — MedAptus, a leading provider of point-of-care
solutions for physicians, today announced the addition of several
key senior level executives to its management team. These appointments
include Bryan Dieter, President and CEO, Tom Kuegler, Vice President
of Sales and Bill Marshall, Vice President of Client Services.
Mr. Dieter has held senior level management positions in healthcare
information services companies for more than 20 years, in roles
ranging from the CEO and founder of a healthcare software and
consulting firm to managing operations, consulting, software
development, marketing and sales organizations. He came to MedAptus
from Amicore where he was Head of Operations. Mr. Dieter also
held similar positions at IDX (Nasdaq: IDXC), Phymatrix (ICSL)
and Per-Se Technologies (Nasdaq: PSTI, formerly Medaphis). The
organizations for which he has worked provide clinical trial
services, software, consulting services, managed care and physician
network management.

Tom Kuegler joined MedAptus in December 2002 and prior to MedAptus
held senior positions with Amicore, ClickRebates and RightNow
Technologies. Tom has been a founding member of two companies,
Skyline Network Technologies and SpinBox. Tom is the author
of dozens of articles on topics such as Online Customer Service,
Online Advertising and Marketing, CRM and Business Efficiency.
He is also the author or co-author of three books about the
Internet and its business utilities.

Completing the additions to the executive team in March 2003,
Mr. Marshall now manages the Client Services team, consisting
of account management, implementation & support and consulting
services. Mr. Marshall has over 19 years experience in healthcare
and technology. Prior to joining MedAptus, Bill was National
Accounts Manager for Avega, a leading decision support software
vendor in the healthcare industry. Previously, Mr. Marshall
was National Market Director, leading the launch of decision
support software products for IDX Systems.
